This project combines digital eye-gaze and touch technology with art-related software — thereby providing participants with severe spinal injury, illness or developmental disability with the opportunity to create artwork.
At the Youth Dreamers we are writing, designing and publishing a book, I am Not a Test Score: Lessons Learned From Dreaming. The book chronicles the history of the Youth Dreamers and the lessons they learned from real world experience and projects, not from standardized test preparation.
We have also been hosting monthly youth leadership workshops which include community art projects, and creating art together to reflect on themes of identity and success.
The M.A.O.G (Mighty Artist Owls of Guilford) after school art club is creating mosaics for the entrance of the school. We meet once a week for two hours after which we never want to stop and go home!
